I agreed to do a side bar link exchange with a mom reviews blog. I don’t see my link on their side bar anymore. I don’t mind them changing their mind but I think the courteous thing would be to let me know they were taking my link down so I could do the same.

What a coincidence-I’m going through my blogroll on MomReviews to see if the blogs on it are there linking back. And then I saw that you link to my blog Table for Five and not MomReviews! lol So now I need to check my blogroll there too

We did have an agreement for the Mom Reviews blog for a front page side bar link… people I have agreements with are under the heading “Associates”… People under “Linky Love” are people or blogs I particularly like… LOL, I like my associates too, but I just separate them so to help me remember if there was an agreement to link…
When I checked I didn’t see my link on Mom Reviews so I went ahead and removed your link too… did I make a mistake? was my link there and I overlooked it? If so I’m sorry and please accept my apology…

You don’t have to link this blog from Mom Reviews anymore since I seldom blog here anymore… I kind of lost my oomph after my mother-in-law died and I dropped out of the paid blogging scene…
I’ll put Mom Reviews on my Linky Love list and no reciprocal is necessary… I know the link back means more to you than it does me since I could care less what Google does or does not do…

i must admit that i’ve exchanged many links in the past and even paid for link placements but i dont have the time to check that they are still present very often. people love their one-way links. really should keep an eye on my link swaps…

It is always sad when people act this way - trying to make one-way profit instead of exchange promised:(
What really gets me is the people that contact you wanting a link exchange and you go to visit their site to see if they have listed your blog in their blogroll but they haven’t. It’s like they’ll only link to you if you link to them … well I don’t do that.
I link to a blog if I like it (I’ve done exchanges in the past and in some cases my link isn’t on the blog anymore). If the blogger wants to exchange links with me great, if not that’s fine. However I hate getting requests for links from people that haven’t even bothered to link to my site before asking for an exchange. That’s just rude.
