lilly1.jpgI love the little cat. I really do. But she has completely disrupted the life of one of our other cats - FanceePantzz.

Fancee is so afraid and fearful of Lilly that she won’t even come into the kitchen for breakfast or dinner. Fancee stays on the tree my husband built for the cats and seldom comes down. I had to put a litter box near the tree but sometimes Lilly stakes it out and chases her out of it and back up on the tree. So Lilly has the run of the house and Fancee has been held prisoner (by her own fear) on the tree for almost two months now. We just keep hoping it will get better but I don’t think it ever will. Lilly knows she can intimidate Fancee and she is not about to stop.

I guess we’ll just have to find another home for Lilly. It hurts my heart to do it and I’m really going to miss her, but Fancee should not have to live in fear 100% of the time in her own home.

I’m flabbergasted. Utterly stunned. Mona (my daughter-in-law’s mother that recently passed away) didn’t have any life insurance. Okay, I think she had a $1000.00 policy but in my mind that’s the same as having no life insurance. I can’t imagine what she was thinking. She had a good job working for a doctor’s office and was treated very well there. I just don’t know why she didn’t have more than $1000.00 in life insurance.

My husband and I have wonderful medical and life insurance through his work, but I’m telling you people to listen up. If you don’t have life insurance this is something you might want to start doing something about it.

I was looking around at options Mona could have taken advantage of. She loved the internet and was on it all the time. There are websites on the net that give tips to get the cheapest quote for life insurance as well as home insurance, car insurance and just about any kind of insurance you’re looking for.

On a selfish note, Mona not having life insurance is going to take a toll on my husband and I. My husband has already offered to pay off her car (she didn’t have credit life on that loan either) so the kids (our son and DIL) will be able to keep it. This is just the tip of the iceberg and I still can’t stop being flabbergasted.

So I did a review on my geek blog for Loretta of Gadget Girl Accessories and I like her blog so much I think I’ll write about it here too. :)

I just read her entry titled Not your average heart shaped necklace and for some reason it made me chuckle. If that isn’t the perfect gift for the geek girl in your life then I don’t know what is.

I visit this blog a lot but I can see that I need to put Gadget Girl Accessories into my feed reader because I was just there and noticed that I missed out on a contest! Darn. I’m loading up my Google Reader right now - I’m not going to miss out on the latest gadgets anymore!

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before but fall is my very favorite time of the year. This probably sounds odd, but I feel more refreshed, more optimistic, and more ambitious during the fall then any other season. Maybe I’ll finally stop procrastinating and go ahead and purchase the dining room set I’ve wanted for so long.

I found a great selection of dining sets over at Great Priced Furniture and I do believe they live up to their name. I really, really like this North Shore Gathering Table Set.

In addition to great prices, Great Priced Furniture offers a 30-day money back guarantee and GE Consumer Financing with no interest and no payments until February 2009. I’m still looking at other dining sets on their website but so far the gathering table set is my favorite.

Our daughter-in-law (M.) is holding up pretty well since her mother’s death this past Sunday. She lives 100 miles from us so we don’t get to see her very often. My husband did make the drive Monday and spent the day with her. She has a LOT of support from family and friends so that’s one positive thing in her life now.

Our son T. called last night from Kuwait where he was still awaiting a flight. At least now I can say he is out of Iraq so this is good news. I’m not sure if he will be sent to Camp Lejeune before they fly him home or if he will be coming straight to Florida. I hope he gets home soon.

It is hard to believe summer is nearly over and fall is almost here. I never did buy the mailbox I was talking about a few months ago so maybe it is time to start thinking about that again.

Mailboxixchange is a neat website that features high quality mailboxes. I’m tired of our current little leaking mailbox so I’m looking at some of the post mount residential mailboxes. We live about 2/10 mile from the hard road so I’d like to have a big heavy duty mailbox as a replacement.

With over 1500 residential and commercial mailboxes it should be pretty easy to find just the one I want.

I’m on a campaign to improve and replace several things in my home and ceiling fans are on the top of my list. I recently found a website that has a selection of more than four hundred unique ceiling fans from thirteen manufacturers. This is the largest selection available online.

When we bought our mobile home a few years ago the people we bought it from promised to install two ceiling fans before delivery - one in the master bedroom and one in the living room. After the home was delivered, you guessed it, there were no ceiling fans installed. There were only a couple of gaping holes where the fans should be. Of course I got on the phone and let them know about it and they said they would take care of it and would send someone out with the fans to install them. Ha! By the looks of the fans they sent someone to the nearest discount store and bought two fans for the blue light special.

I’ve been checking Farrey’s website and looking at some of the fans they have listed there. I think I like the Hunter fans best.

How in the world can someone confuse “he called from Germany” with “he is waiting for a plane out of Iraq”? I just don’t get it. My husband told me T. called from Germany. I thought he was on his way home from Iraq but now I find out he is still there waiting for a flight.

I keep asking my husband how the information got miscommunicated but he just says it was hectic at our daughter-in-law’s house today and it was just a mistake. This bites.

Okay, here is my kind of luck. One week after I upgrade my PC I find out about CensusPC. I could have saved about $100.00 if I had purchased my upgrades from CensusPC instead of having the repair shop do the upgrade for me. Of course, I gladly payed for the repairman’s knowledge and expertise since I have no idea how to upgrade a PC.

All isn’t lost however, because there is always some new toy or piece of equipment just waiting to go home in my shopping cart. I’ve been thinking about holding a contest on this blog and I think one of these USB Flash Pen drives would make a really good prize.

I was looking around at some of the other items and noticed they have large selection of notebook AC/DC power adapters . Now, I’m not interested in that for myself but oddly enough my son mentioned that he needed a power adapter for his notebook the other night when we were out to dinner. He is also in the process of building his first computer so I’ll have to be sure to forward the website address of CensusPC to him.

T. is my husband’s son from a previous marriage but I consider him to be “our” son.

I know that our daughter-in-law M. put in a few phone calls to the Marine Corp last night regarding her mother’s death but I honestly didn’t think they would let him come home, but we have word that he will be coming home from Iraq in the next day or two.

We think he might be staying in the states for good because they told him to make sure to pack everything he owned. I’d think he would do that anyway, but who knows? I hope and pray he does not have to go back to Iraq. He has been there two times. That’s enough.

He is already on his way and called from Germany to let M. know his status. I’m sorry he is coming home for the reason he is coming home. Thank God he is out of Iraq and on his way home.

Added Note: He was still in Iraq when I wrote this - there had been a miscommunication.

MonWhen the phone rings at 2am it is never a good thing. The ringing cell phone is even worse. There are only a few people that have my husband’s cell phone number. I knew something bad had happened as soon as the phone rang.

My husband’s daughter-in-law (M) was calling and my first thought was my step-son (T) in Iraq but it wasn’t news about our son. I was shocked to hear that M’s mother Mona passed away last night. Suddenly. Just like that. Gone. She died of a brain aneurysm without warning. It happened at around 5pm yesterday and she passed away around midnight.

My husband is on his way to M’s house now just to be there for her and to help in any way he can. M told me last night that she has always heard that God doesn’t give you more than you can handle but she just doesn’t think she can handle any more. Her Dad died when she was 7 and she lost her 2 month old first born and now her mother. It is a terrible tragedy for our son and daughter-in-law and our extended family.

Welp, I finally got up off my butt after a month and took my computer to the repair shop. I was about 90% content using my husband’s computer but for some reason he kept asking me “have you decided what you’re going to do about your computer yet?” Poor guy seldom uses his computer but he should at least be able to sit down and use it when he wants to without having to pry me from the chair.

Along with the computer repair I treated myself to a new video card and a cordless keyboard and mouse and I’m just loving my new toys. My games are so much clearer and I don’t know what the big deal is about the cordless mouse but it just seems to make my life so much easier.

Most of the data on my hard drive was able to be recovered and if I’ve lost anything at all it is pretty minor. Funny thing though, when I woke up this morning and checked out this blog my template had been reset to the default Wordpress template! Now, that’s weird! I cannot come up with any reasonable explanation for this at all, but this is the second time something strange has happened with this blog. The other time I woke up and one of my recent posts had been marked to “private”. I would never mark a post as private here so I just figured I hit the wrong place in the WP dashboard while I was editing. I guess just to be on the safe side I’d better change my password. It really creeps me out thinking someone has the ability to go into my settings and mess around. :(

One thing the broken computer finally prompted me to do was make a backup. Do you hear that world? After years of saying “I need to get around to that” I finally got around to it! I backed up my data to my 80 gig external drive and I plan to do it weekly from now on. I don’t ever want to go through a scare like this again. The biggest stress about the dead computer was losing all my files. My silly little data would probably be stupid junk to anyone else, but by golly, it’s MY junk. :p

I read an interesting post over at A Cowboy’s Wife about blog depression. I initally took it as tongue-in-cheek but the fact of the matter is I think I’m suffering from some form of this myself. Blah, maybe I need a break from all of this because it doesn’t seem to be fun for me right now. Or maybe I’ll shake it out and get past this stage soon. *shrug* Or whatever. :p

I often wonder how people choose a drug rehabilitation program. There are tons of drug rehabs out there but I would have no idea how to select one or which criteria to even ask about. I think a person in that position might have a hard time doing the groundwork and searching for the program that is best suited to their needs.

4Rehabilitation.com is a drug rehab referral service that assists those in need as well as their families in finding the drug rehab program that is right for their situation. Your personal information is kept confidential and private and 4Rehabilitation.com is HIPPA compliant. If you are in need of help with the disease of alcohol or drug addiction you can complete the online assessment form or give 4Rehabilitation a call immediately.

50 Words for $50 Contest

Here is another contest that anyone with a blog can enter. Crissy over at Dear Crissy is having a contest to win $50.00. The contest will run through August 31st when Crissy will draw the winner from all the participating bloggers.

The rules are simple. All you have to do is write about the contest using at least 50 words and provide two link-backs - one to the domain and one to the contest post itself. I love easy contests and it doesn’t get any easier than this. Wish me luck folks, I can use an extra $50.00. :)

This looks like a cool website. There are tons of social communities on the web but Cellfish is set up a bit differently. You can upload media to Cellfish from your computer or your cellphone as well as download to either your computer or cellphone. This makes sharing with friends both online and on their cellphones extremely easy. Your locker at Cellfish is a virtual storage area where all your uploaded graphics, videos and other media are stored.

My cell phone company provides a free storage area for my uploaded pictures but my storage is limited to a certain number of images, unlike Cellfish where you get unlimited storage in your locker. Ummm…. unlimited storage… don’t you just love those words? I know I do! Content will stay in your locker forever. Well, forever is a long time but your content will stay in your locker until you delete it, unless you violate the terms of service or something like that. I think most of us know the difference between appropriate and inappropriate material so I don’t think we have to worry about our content being deleted.

At Cellfish you can download premium as well as free ringtones. I had a good time listening to all the ringtones. I’ll have to download a few just to see the surprise on my husband’s face when he hears them. *grin*

Of course I had to try out the uploading feature myself so I uploaded a few pictures from the loaner computer I’m using.

I like the way I can embed my album into my website or blog and then scroll through it to look at my pictures. When I finally get a new computer or get my old one fixed I’ll be uploading a lot more pictures to my locker at Cellfish.

purse1.pngA what kind of purse? I’ve never heard of 7 Loaves purses but I suppose that’s the point of the contest, eh? :)

From now until August 31st Eve from Confessions of an Everyday Housewife is running a contest to win a drawing for a purse from 7 Loaves.

There are several ways to enter. You will receive 10 entries for a blog post, 2 entries for Digging it, 2 entries for posting about it on a forum or 1 for bumping it (I’d say that one is a little tricky) and 1 entry for stumbling the post if you use StumbleUpon.

Check out Confessions of an Everyday Housewife for the full details.

Hmm, let’s see, I Dugg it and posted about it, so that’s 12 entries… I know of a forum post I can bump too for one more entry… maybe 13 will be my lucky number! :)

I’m not sure how I escaped it (so far) but I’ve never had a close friend or family member suffer from Alzheimer’s. My grandfather had dementia and lost a good portion of his memory, but his dementia didn’t progress the way Alzheimer’s does. His memory stayed the same for several years before he died.

My mother-in-law is getting more forgetful each and every day but she has not been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I believe the issues she has are normal age-related memory changes. The Alzheimer’s Association web site has a list of the warning signs of Alzheimer’s as well as a chart explaining the difference between Alzheimer’s and normal age-related memory changes. The site is very interesting to me due to the memory issues my mother-in-law is suffering from and because lately her memory seems to be getting worse. Her doctor is aware of her memory issues and she does have regular check-ups but as a family member I do pay careful attention to her and the Alzheimer’s website has a lot of good information.

I’ve recently become aware of the The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk®. This is the nation’s largest event of this type and volunteers of all ages are joining the fight to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. A typical Memory Walk is a 2-3 miles and held on a weekend morning in the fall. The walk for the Tampa area was held this past March and the next one is scheduled for October 1, 2008. However, there is a walk scheduled for October 6, 2007 in Orlando that is only a little over an hour’s drive from Tampa.

If you are interested in this charitable cause I encourage you to sign up early and even sign up as a team captain. If you do sign up as a team captain or to walk in your own area after reading this post please come back and let me know. I’m very interested to hear from people that participate in the Memory Walk 2007.

Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

Another recipe from good ol’ Betty Crocker. I found this recipe in the Betty Crocker Bisquick cookbook. I used lots of onion and added some extra cheese. It turned out really well if I do say so myself. This is my husband’s plate. I grabbed it from his hands and said “wait! I want to take a picture of that!” :)

1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
1/2 cup Original Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs

1. HEAT oven to 400 degrees. Grease pie plate, 9×1 1/4 inches. Cook beef and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown, drain. Spread in pie plate.

2. STIR remaining ingredients until blended. Pour into pie plate.

3. BAKE about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Makes 6 servings.

High Altitude (3500 to 6500 feet): Bake 30 to 35 minutes.

I think my favorite scary movie of all time is the original Night of the Living Dead. I don’t remember when I saw it the first time but I do remember that it was at a drive-in movie. I had nightmares about that movie for a long time. I suppose Night of the Living Dead is pretty tame compared to Halloween the movie.

I don’t like scary movies as much as I did when I was younger. Maybe this is because when I was younger I thought everything in life was a fantasy, just like in the movies. Family massacres? Big deal. It is only a movie - not real life. Somewhere along the line as I got older my thinking has changed. Family massacres and blood and gore are things that can happen in real life. Now when I watch these types of movies it takes a long long time to get the images out of my head and I tend to dwell on the fact that these things do happen in real life.

I have been known to cover my face during the scariest parts of some movies. After looking at this movie trailer for Halloween the movie I’m thinking I’d probably be covering my face during the entire movie! If the trailer for the movie scares the living heck out of me - I can only imagine how the movie itself will terrify me. The latest Halloween movie was written and directed by Rob Zombie and will be released August 31st. If you want to have the living daylights scared out of you mark your calendars. This one looks like it is going to be a winner.

My Middle Name - Meme

I was tagged by Tina over at the Creative Nerd for the Middle Name Meme so here goes:

1. You have to post these rules before you give the facts.

2. Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of their middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.

3. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog-post containing your own middle name game facts.

4. At the end of your blog-post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Okay, I’m not up for telling my middle name on the internet (or any other name either for that matter, heh) so I’ll use the middle name I would have liked to have had. Let’s see, I’ll say Sarah.

S - Should have known better. *grin*
A - Arrogant at times. (haha)
R - Raised in Florida.
A - Alone a lot. I prefer it that way.
H - Honest to a fault most of the time.

I probably didn’t do this right so if I tagged you it might be a good idea to check the Creative Nerd to see how it is done.

Okay, I guess I have to tag 5 people.

Last week I wrote about the cool way you can get personalized news delivered directly to your browser. I have to tell you though, reading the news at Thoof is almost as bad as watching videos on YouTube. I just can’t stop, hehe. There is always another interesting story to read.

One thing I didn’t go into detail with is the ThoofRank badge. The ThoofRank badge and the number shown on it is a measure of how interesting your submitted story is to readers that have interests in common with it. For example, at the time of this writing the story I submitted on July 26th has a ranking of 48%. That means that my story is 48% more popular than other related stories. That’s a little below average but not too bad for my first try.

In addition to personalized news I’m thinking that Thoof might be a good way to drive traffic to a blog or website. I suppose the only way to know that for sure is to conduct a little test. What I’m going to do is submit a few stories to Thoof and add the ThoofRank badge to them. Then I’ll keep an eye on my stats to see if I get any results from my little campaign. I’m always thinking! *grin*

We haven’t visited the butcher shop since May 26 (I date things before I put them in the freezer) and our freezer was becoming pretty bare. I made a big list and called in our order and hubby went and picked it up. Among other things I had ordered 2 chuck roasts. When we were unpacking and labeling the meat and putting in the freezer we found that we had 3 roasts instead of 2.

Hubby mentioned that the check-out lady thought we were missing a roast when she rang up the order and ran to the back and brought out another roast. We only paid for 2 but we wound up with 3.

I called first thing this morning and let them know what happened and that we owed them for one roast. The lady was very nice and said not to worry about it and that we didn’t owe for it. I thanked her and told her that we really appreciated it.

Even if I had had the slightest inkling to keep quiet about the extra roast I certainly would not have, especially with this meat market. Several months ago my mother-in-law and I went into the shop to buy some meat and my MIL left a bank envelope on the counter with about $50.00 in it. I don’t remember now how they tracked us down. Oh yeah, I do remember. I had called in an order that time too and they still had the list with our phone number on it. They called and asked if we were missing an envelope with money in it. I thought that was very nice and extremely rare that they would go through the trouble to track us down to return the money. I don’t think many people would do that in this day and age.

If you live in or near southeast Tampa and don’t know about Apollo Meats you don’t know what you’re missing. We really love that butcher shop and haven’t bought meat at the grocery store in a few years now. We bought several of the $1.50 bacon wrapped tenderloins with our latest order and I’ll be broiling a few tonight. Yum.

Blizzard Entertainment has thrilled millions of Starcraft fans with the announcement of their new game Starcraft 2 but personally I never really got into the Starcraft games. I tried to play Starcraft several times when my stepsons were younger and asked me to play with them but Starcraft never really did anything for me. I let them play their Starcraft and I played Diablo 2 and everyone was happy. :)

I do like Blizzard games a lot as evidenced by my WoW addiction and I know several people that are saying they just can’t wait until Starcraft is released. I’m even starting to become a little more interested in Starcraft 2 lately.

One thing cool about Blizzard games are the websites run by the fans. Creep Colony is a Starcraft 2 fansite that looks very promising. I was over there this morning looking at some of the video previews of Starcraft 2. If you are a fan of the game I’d recommend bookmarking Creep Colony to keep track of the development of Starcraft 2.

I’ve talked a little bit about hosting and domains lately so I thought I’d share my favorite tool to find a good domain name - Instant Domain Search.

With Instant Domain Search all you have to do is start typing and you will know immediately if the domain you want is available. Your domain searches will not be recorded which is good because I think some sites record your searches and then register your desired domain themselves hoping to re-sell it back to you.

I really like this tool. It is the best one of it’s type I’ve found. Okay, I’m kind of a goof at times and I like putting in different combinations of names just to see they are available. Who knows? Maybe I’ll find a good domain name nobody has thought of yet and I’ll sell it for a million dollars. *grin*

I know a lot of people in other states talk about retiring to Florida, but hubby and I are the reverse. We live in Florida and talk about retiring to North Carolina. I haven’t been to North Carolina in years but my husband travels there a few times a year to visit his son who is stationed at Camp Lejeune, one of the Marine Corp bases near Jacksonville. Every time he comes home from his visit he says “you know, I’d really like to live there one day”.

My husband’s retirement is still quite a few years away but sometimes I get the bug just to check to see what the real estate market is like there. We have some friends that live in the Charlotte area and I’ve decided that if we ever do move to North Carolina the Charlotte area is one of my first choices for the location.

The luxury homes in Charlotte are pretty awesome but I don’t think I would ever be happy if I didn’t live near water. I’ve been looking at the real estate market in the Lake Norman area. Lake Norman is the largest body of fresh water in the North Carolina area. Fortunately for us (we’re not rich!) the market is strong for Lake Norman real estate with options that range from ranch-style single family homes to multi-million dollar residential properties with everything in between. Lake Norman has been recognized as Money Magazine’s “Top Places to Retire”, “Top 100 Places to Live” and one of “America’s Hottest Real Estate Markets”.

Even though I have my mind set on the Lake Norman area it is still interesting to look at the Charlotte luxury homes for sale. As a matter of fact, the Weddington NC real estate market is one of the top real estate markets in Charlotte. Situated about 15 miles from downtown Charlotte, the small-town charm of this residential community along with the natural environment and community structure make Weddington a desirable place to live.

Online Dating

For the Heck of It! is rated “G”. That doesn’t surprise me because I pay careful attention to the words I use here and have a personal policy against using curse words. For example, why use the word “damn” when “darn” or “dang” work just as well? hehe, I wonder if I just destroyed my rating? *grin*

I mentioned yesterday that I’ve been looking around lately for additional hosting and lo and behold, I ran across an offer today for free web hosting for one year.

As part of their summer sale Easy CGI is now offering a one time promotion of their windows web hosting services. Anyone that signs up through the special promotion URL will receive one year of windows based free web hosting.

Some of the features of Easy CGI’s free web hosting offer are:

  • 99.9% Uptime Guarantee
  • 24/7 Phone Support
  • One Step Script Installation Tool to install some the Internet’s most popular applications.
  • Web Traffic Reports
  • Set Up and Knowledge Base Tutorials
  • Access to some of the Internet’s commonly used tools such as DotNetNuke, OSCommerce, and Community Server

We all know there are sometimes strings attached to “free” offers but I did check the Easy CGI website the best I could and I couldn’t find any gimmicks or strings attached at all. There are 3 hosting packages to choose from and with 24/7 support I think this offer from Easy CGI will be hard to beat if you are looking for windows web hosting.

I didn’t like it.

I’ve used the same recipe before using round steak so I don’t know what went wrong this time. I used the half cup of water but the gravy looked like a globby mess. I added another half cup of water and it looked more like gravy so I put the lid on it and let it simmer.

Another thing I did wrong was to put garlic salt on the meat before dredging it in flour. I do this out of habit but I forgot that the onion soup mix was very salty to begin with. oops!

I think my problem was that I cooked it too long. My husband visited his mother after work yesterday evening so I just let everything simmer until he got home. It still ended up as a globby mess in my opinion.

I might try this again sometime and hope I can remember the mistakes I made this time.

Hubby said he really liked it so I guess all’s well that ends well.

We usually spend a couple hundred dollars buying meat when we go to the butcher shop but sooner or later the freezer starts looking bare again. At the moment all I have left is 2 frozen cut-up chickens, 1 pound of ground chuck, 1 pound of “stew meat” (cubed chuck roast) and a package of bacon.

I don’t feel like thawing out a chicken (too late in the day anyway) and I”m tired of ground beef (we just had spaghetti the other night) and I don’t feel like making beef stew either. We also have several Totino’s Party Pizzas that we keep on hand for an emergency. An example of an emergency is when nobody feels like cooking but everyone feels like eating. I asked my husband if he wanted “something from ground beef, a little pizza or a concoction made from stew meat”. He had a funny look on his face, but always the adventurer he said “a stew meat concoction”.

So this is what I’m going to do. I’m going to make a round steak recipe but use stew meat instead. Here is the recipe straight from the 1972 Betty Crocker’s Cookbook. They don’t make cookbooks like this anymore and that’s a fact. I bought the Betty Crocker Cookbook: Everything You Need to Know to Cook Today, New Tenth Edition for my daughter-in-law a few Christmas’s ago. It is a good cookbook, but nothing can take the place of my old fashioned one.

This is the recipe I’ll be using: Read the rest of this entry »

Whee, I found another coupon codes website. This one has a twist that I don’t believe I’ve seen before. As well as offering coupon codes, RetailMeNot.com is an interactive community website.

At RetailMeNot.com visitors and users have the opportunity to submit coupon codes and subscribe to a weekly newsletter featuring the best coupon codes as voted by the users of RetailMeNot.com. This relatively new website is receiving over one million visitors a month who have contributed 35,000 coupons!

If you can’t find the coupon code you’re looking for you can make a request on the forums set up with that purpose in mind. As well as a request forum, RetailMeNot.com has forums for other topics including coupons, bargains and freebies. If you’re into shopping you can browse or post to the shopping forums. If you just want to hang out, you can do that in The Lounge forum.

I shouldn’t admit this because I already have enough domains as it is, but I’ve been looking around for additional web hosting a bit lately. I found a dot5hosting coupon that I might look into. Can’t hurt to browse can it? :)
