Hooray! A thanks and a shoutout to John for prompting me to fix the font in the text area of the comment box! I myself was irritated by it but I tried several times to fix it but never could.
I finally went to the support forums for Brian’s Threaded Comments and found out that my problem was not in my styles.css or my commments.php. These were the two files I have been trying to edit forever!
Nope, the problem was in the plugin itself. I never would have figured that the plugin had a stylesheet inside it. This probably seems silly but I’m thrilled to no end to have that one little glitch taken care of.
Cool, I had noticed that in the past and wondered what caused that. Also, it asks you if you want to be notified via email twice, sort of.
By the way, you’ve been tagged!

I might take another look at it when I get a block of time to spend on it…
I had a similar problem that was a HUUUUGE pain! I just ended up junking the template and starting over… ::sigh::
I totally cannot get threaded comments to work on my blog!
1. briansthreadedcomments.php
2. comments.php
There are 4 steps to Brian’s Threaded comments.
1. Go to the directory of the theme you are using and download comments.php to a safe place on your computer. That way if you screw something up you can re-upload it and be back where you were before.
2. Upload briansthreadedcomments.php to your plugins directory.
3. Uploaded comments.php to the directory of the theme you are using, overwriting the one that is already there.
4. Activate your plugin as usual.
I’m guessing you uploaded both files to the plugins directory. Give it one more try and see if it will work for you now.
