It has been awhile since I wrote about the fine dining here in the trailer park so I thought I’d share with you what I had for lunch today.
Todays menu consisted of a few slices of cheese cut from a block of sharp cheddar (Publix brand) and some pepperoni that I stole from my husband’s stash of pizza fixings and some Premium Saltine crackers on the side. My beverage was Seven-up on ice. Yum yum.
I would have gone with Ritz myself. And Diet Coke. Yum.
Ritz and peanut butter is my official week-before-pay-day lunch. Who am I kidding? A tube will make breakfast and lunch.
Broke food. But good food.
Maybe one day you will be able to go for the lunchables - now that’s fine dining
Thanks for stopping by and come back any time…
Ain’t nothing wrong with a little Publix cheese! That’s my favorite grocery store.
That actually sounds really good! It’s like the “tv snacks” my mom used to make us as kids. Don’t forget to put a little cream cheese on those saltines!
Tina K is so right… It’s gotta be Ritz. Haven’t eatten those meals since I was a kid, and oddly I wasn’t in a trailer at all… my parents are actually pretty well off. I guess I must have just liked it. I even made mini-pb&js where the bread was Ritz! That’s how I roll.
Yum Yum I love cheese, crackers, and peporoni, they make a great just about anything.
I am so hungry right now that your picture has been salivating, I kid you not.
Yum. Breakfast of champions for those that awaken at the crack of noon!
Do you really think that it is cool to leave a comment with the name Doggy T Shirts? That is SPAM plain and simple and you really have your nerve coming in here and telling me I am in some way obligated to accept spam in my personal blog.
Your name is NOT Doggie TShirts and that is not going to fly around here… when people are this rude I either change their name or their URL or just delete it altother… if you want to use a name, that’s cool but by golly you’re not going to spam this blog and then try to bully me into accepting it.
In summary, you have no right to spam me and I am not obligated to allow it.
Actually, the do follow is a good movement. What clutters everything up is the Google issue. Everybody tries to work around the algo, and hence, other (ethical and not) services pop up. The trick is to tell the difference. BTW, spammers don’t make intelligent comments, or post replies.
Spammers use a business or website name as keywords to game Google. There is no trick to telling the difference between an honest comment and someone trying to put an intelligent comment into their spam. When you put your business name instead of a person name you are screaming “this is spam!”
Yes, spammers do make intelligent comments and yes, spammers do post replies. You are a prime example of that because you are a spammer.
Manual human spam is just as spammy as bot spam. What you are doing is spam, plain and simple.
Edit: you really need to do some research about Akismet if you are going to go around spamming your advertising. Half the comments you have made here have been flagged and put into the spam queue. lol
So, just running some tests, and it seems you are flushing real readers who sign off with their website and actually post comments that are of value to a discussion, but you want to try and take my money in order to write about the same commercial project? You can flush this one too, but you lost both my money and my eyeballs Anna.
I like it when you use the name David to comment, and I like it when you put your website URL into the URL box so you can get a back link to help your PR and also so people can come visit you… That’s what the “do-follow” movement is all about, right…?
What I don’t like is someone that puts their URL into the URL box and then for their name they don’t put “David” for example, they put something like: ACME FOO PRODUCTS WEBSITE COME GET YOURS NOW! hehe, get it now…? That is very annoying and you would not believe how many rude people do that… if that’s what you wanted to do then heck, I don’t want you to come back any more than you want to be here…
If perhaps we have had a misunderstanding, please come back and visit any old time you like… I wish you would edit your comment and put your URL in, I’d love to come visit you also…
p.s. I don’t want your money… :p
(I’m trying to get my theme fixed up but I’ll try to make my little blurb more clear in just a bit…)
And another thing, what does that have to do with Cheese and Crackers? If you want to run a test I have a Graffiti page for off-topic comments, dang…
I appreciate your clarifying your position. I understand a blogger’s frustration at being spammed since we also suffer from the same (on our one blog), but there is a big difference between someone like ourselves, (a 3 man company who creates AND manufacture’s all of our stuff) choosing to read a blog, post an actual comment related to the entry, and sign off using whatever name we feel like and a spambot looking to get some backlinks to drugs, loans, gambling ect, and usually in one post (I know that sentence is run-on).
My commercial website IS my blog.
Blog comments are about much more than only the actual link button. If someone reads your entry and feels compelled to chime in, it should be of no importance what name they use. The fact that they sit at their computer and contribute to your content should be proof enough.
I further this argument by saying that the blog-for-profit model is something we (our little tiny company) support. We actively pay money to bloggers in order to become better known, both through their value in the index (Google), but also for for their readership. I happen to then read many of these blogs, and their blog rolls.
Blog-for-profit is the way you have chosen to earn some scratch, which is awesome. When YOU read someone’s blog and leave a comment, you are using that as a medium to gain eyeballs and hence further your capacity to earn, in the same way that we do. We don’t to make money selling blog stories, we sell t-shirts. So if I choose to write my name in as Jewish T-shirts, David, St Christopher or the 37th street chapel, it’s all sorta a mute point.
And my comment was ‘Breakfast of Champions for those that awaken at the crack of noon’, cause that was basically my breakfast as a student.
I have signed this post as I did my first. You may also discard of it, but since you took your time to explain, I thought you deserved at least for me to take mine and also explain. Keep on bloggin’.
Couldn’t agree more
I’m thinking about going back to “no-follow” because this is beginning to be just too much of a hassle…
I hope you’re not talking about me?
