Yep, I’m a “do-follow” blogger. That means I have removed the “no-follow” tags from your URL when you post comments. I welcome comments and as long as your comment is relevant I really don’t mind that most people comment just to get a back-link. I’m happy to help! 
However, this does not mean that I have turned my blog into a Free For All Links page. This is personal blog, it is not an advertising site. If you use your web site title or business name instead of your name (or handle) then that’s pure ol’ spam. dang. I’m going to start deleting spam comments. For goodness sakes be kind enough to use your name or handle/alias when commenting.
Use a name or handle/alias to comment please. Comments with a business or website name are spam and will be deleted.

I’ve lurked on your site before and am finally speaking up! Anyway, I use ‘Web Urbanist’ as my handle (and it is also my blog name). My blog is a 100% advertising and revenue-free - I run it for myself and for my readers. I wonder, though, if using this handle doesn’t throw people. Anywho, any thoughts?

As for the other part, I don’t agree with you because:
- My comment wasn’t out of the topic just to promote my site;
- I keep the Do Follow List updated on my site and I check the sites to see if they really deserve to be there;
- You have a link on my site just because you joined the Do Follow Movement and I found you on a previous list;
- I intend to write a script which will calculate the listed sites’ rank so that the better ones will be listed first;
For all these, I think that it’s only fair to have a little something in return. And since few people take the time to check their incoming links, I’m posting a comment to let them know about what I’m doing.
Don’t you worry, I’m not going to post on all your post just to increase my google PR…
