Ours went out a couple weeks ago - and with all the rain here lately, we knew it wasn't dry, so were really worried it was the in-ground pump. That would have been expensive! Fortunately, it was just something in the electrical box in the cellar that turns the pump on - a half-hour DIY fix that cost less than fifty dollars. Some water-related angel was on duty that day! So, fingers crossed that your problem won't be a big costly one... because Bathing Is Good! ;-) Ooh, no well is not good!
